
Sophia (she/her) hails from the Pacific Northwest, where she grew up spending her free time outside and naturally developed an interest in the environment. She went on to study Anthropology and Geography at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she became passionate about addressing social and environmental issues through food systems change. In 2022, she received her masters degree in Sustainable Food Systems from the Masters of the Environment Program at CU Boulder. Her work in regenerative agriculture to date has consisted of combined efforts in writing, photography and other creative mediums to bring the stories of the food system to light. Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending her free time trail running, cycling, climbing, and practicing film photography.
