Where you’ll find us this Climate Week

Mad Agriculture is showing up across the week to host, sponsor, and take the stage on the conversations that matter most: regenerative agriculture, Indigenous partnerships, catalytic finance, and the future of food and farming.  Here’s our schedule. We hope to see you there!

Monday

MAD Agriculture is hosting.

When: Monday, September 21, 2026  •  5:30 – 7:30 PM

Where: Patagonia SoHo, New York City

Tickets & Info

Join Mad Agriculture, Patagonia Provisions, and Whole Foods Market at Patagonia SoHo for Climate Week NYC.

Our food system is under strain. Biodiversity loss. Water degradation. Climate volatility. Farmer viability. These challenges are deeply interconnected, but most of our solutions are still fragmented. We work farm by farm, brand by brand, supply chain by supply chain.

But nature doesn’t operate in silos, and this fragmentation weakens ecosystems at the landscape scale. If we want true resilience—ecological and economic—our solutions must operate at that same scale.

This gathering brings together industry leaders at the frontier of a new model: Phil Taylor, Ph.D., CEO and Co-Founder at Mad Agriculture; Paul Lightfoot, General Manager at Patagonia Provisions; and Caitlin Leibert, Global Head of Sustainability, Amazon Worldwide Grocery. In a discussion moderated by James Beard Award-winning journalist Liz Dunn, we’ll explore Wilding, Mad Agriculture’s pioneering framework for restoring ecological function within working farmland, and the audacious 50-year vision it is building toward: a national network of biodiverse ecological corridors threaded through American agricultural landscapes called the Wild Grid.

The conversation will explore what becomes possible when a retailer and 20 food & beverage brands look beyond their own supply sheds, recognizing that secure supply chains depend on thriving ecosystems. It will also explore what becomes possible when this work is done alongside technical partners like The Nature Conservancy, Pheasants Forever, and Audubon, who bring decades of on-the-ground ecological expertise to designing and implementing the Wild Grid.

Join us afterward for time to connect with fellow attendees. Light food and drinks will be provided.

This event highlights agriculture and food systems in Indigenous communities across regions. Conversations will explore key approaches and practices, building partnerships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations, and funding these ecosystems. During the last hour a barter session will take place.

MAD’s speaking slot | 10:45 – 11:15 AM | Building the Market for Bison

Bison are returning to landscapes across North America, bringing opportunities to restore grasslands, strengthen Indigenous food systems, and build new economic opportunities for producers. But growing the bison economy requires more than increasing herd numbers- it requires investment in processing, distribution, consumer demand, and the businesses that connect producers to markets. Phil Taylor, Mad Ag’s CEO, will join folks from NAAF, Turtle Island Community Capital, and a bison producer in this compelling conversation.

Phil Taylor is a speaker.

An evening convening leaders in regenerative agriculture, philanthropy, and investment. Through lightning talks, networking, and a hands-on workshop, we’ll spark new connections and mobilize capital to accelerate the regenerative transition.

Phil Taylor will moderate this exciting panel discussion with Jacob Israelow of Dirt Capital, Nami Patel of Root Capital, and others.  Transitioning to regenerative agriculture requires financial systems that work for farmers.
