Born and raised in San Francisco, Haley (she/her) is deeply connected to the ways humans interact with and access food and nature. Throughout Haley’s life, she has worked to build just food systems and believes the best way to do so is through collaborative partnerships between people and ecosystems. As the Director of Development for Mad Agriculture, she leads fundraising efforts that ensure steady growth for increased impact and helps create organizational structure.
Haley’s work over the last 15 years has spanned the food system, and she most recently was the Partnership and Development Director at the Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF). She holds a Master’s in Food Studies from New York University, where she focused on the organic supply chain and sustainable food systems, has a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from Wesleyan University, and a graduate certificate in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition. When she isn’t working, you can find Haley walking on Ocean Beach, making pottery, eating dumplings, and planning her next adventure.
